So there it is. They've cut short my XO tour, not necessarily a good sign for the further possibility of becoming a squadron CO. Shit, well so much for that career goal. They've made me a detailer though? Now there's a surprise. They don't leave me as XO, they obviously don't think I'm CO material, but they trust me with assigning other pilots? Interesting. Well at least it gets me back to DC.

Okay that means I gotta find someplace to stay this time though. With Blame at the apartment, well we've roomed together before but I'm sure he'd really appreciate me showing up to move back in with Laera there. He better be making his move the asshole, she's perfect for him.

Mom and Dad are due back into town at the end of the summer anyway so unless I wanted to live with them I would have been looking at finding my own place anyway. Not that Mom probably hasn't already figured it out but with my er habits with a girl in every port, staying there once they return would not have been a good idea anyway.

So maybe Georgetown or the Embassy District? Definitely want to be in the middle of things. I need to find myself an agent. Hopefully Blame and Laera can help with that. He ought to be looking too.
